Ghanaian Kumawood actress, Maame Serwaa has apologised to her fellow celebrities who have developed hate for her over a pseudo page using her name to spread falsehood on Facebook.
According to the curvy actress born Clara Amoateng Benson, some unidentified persons have created a Facebook page with her name and are tarnishing the reputations of other celebrities causing a friction to exist between them.
The actress whose post sounded like she has been treated badly by some of her friends noted that, she’s not on Facebook and that she’s working with her team to get the page shut down.
“Good morning fan’mily . It has come to my notice that this particular page on Facebook is impersonating me and has started causing havoc between my colleagues and I. I want to make it open to all; I AM NOT ON FACEBOOK AND THIS PAGE IS NOT MINE!
I don’t know whom ever is behind this page. But my team and I are taking drastic measures to put down this page and any other fake pages down.
Kindly report this page on Facebook till we get it blocked! And to my colleagues who’s been hurt by the stories this page has put up, I am deeply sorry! It just came to my notice and this issue will be dealt with.
