It was Shatta Wale who once said “In every disgrace , there is a grace”. This phrase couldn’t be far from the truth if we link it to the story of Journalist Albert.
The management of GhOne Tv have trampled over its competitors to offer the young gentleman a job with their broadcasting network. This was made public by Star Fm employee, Caleb Boye.
In a tweet, he shared a photo op of Journalist Albert, flanked on both sides by Borla Ray and Nana Aba Anamoah with the caption, “Meeting done. @BongoIdeas1 starts work with GHOneTv on Monday“
Journalist Albert who is also popularly known on Twitter as BongoIdeas name became a household name after his attempt to audition for GhOneTv’s flagship program “The Next Star” failed drastically, as the judges took him on for some tweets he made in the past.
The Judges, namely Nana Aba Anamoah, Serwaa Amihere and Bridget Otoo practically humiliated the young man on their set and later posted the video on the internet.
Their reason, which many believe was to court public dissatisfaction for the young man, for a while achieved it purpose. Journalist Albert lost his job with GhBase and got embarrassed countlessly on twitter.
Out of his disgrace and humiliation also came an opportunity to work with Kevin Taylor and Wode Maya .
But it seems GhOne Tv was in a rush to rewrite the narrative as many felt ashamed by the reactions of the trio. He has been offered an opportunity to work with the network and he has chosen to accept it with both hands.
However, the station is yet to release an official statement concerning his employment and exactly what he will be doing.
