Member of parliament for Assin Central , Honorable Kennedy Agyapong has wadded into the ongoing protest by the minority in parliament and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over the recent declaration by the Electoral Commissioner.
Over the week, the NDC has accused the EC of unfair treatment and have said their candidate and former president, John Dramani Mahama rather won the 7th December 2020 elections.
The party also accused the EC of stealing the Techiman South MP seat for the NPP. The NDC has therefore refused to concede the election and have promise to protest peacefully against the EC.
This stance seems to have infuriated the NPP legislator who took to his TV station to rain invective and insults on the former president.
According to the Assin Central MP, John Mahama is a fool and he is ready to give the command that will lead to the burning of the houses of Gbevlo Lartey, Akamba, Asiedu Nketia and host of others.
He also opined that he will burn Mahama alive because he has stolen and hidden Ghana’s money in other countries. This isn’t the first time the member of parliament has made such disparaging comments. His rhetorics and dog whistling messages led to the brutal killing of an investigative journalist in Madina.
