
Popular Ghanaian boxer and entertainer, Brima Kamoko known widely as Bukom Banku has been remanded by the Accra Circuit court for stabbing.
According to the reports of the police prosecutor, the boxer , his 19 year old son and another person joined forces to attacked one Ishmael Neequaye.
The complainant claims he had gone out to restore calm between the former Light Heavyweight champion and some other individuals who had engage in skirmishes.
In his attempt, the boxer smashed a bottle on the floor and commanded his 19 year old son to stab the complainant around his upper thigh.
During the same time, another individuals among the boxer’s camp, entered the room of the complainant and destroyed his television.
The complainant was rushed to the hospital.
Many attempts to arrest the boxer and his son fell on the rocks until they were served with a criminal summons from the court.
They pleaded not guilty in court but were denied bail by the presiding judge Justice Adelaide Abui Keddey and remanded in prison.
