Ghanaian dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known popularly as Shatta Wale has been accused of flaunting a togo-made jeans as an original jeans.

For two weeks now the “shw3” crooner has created an impression that he only wears original and expensive dresses’. He recently accused entertainment pundit and journalist, Arnold Baidoo of being poor. He mocked him of wearing a 2.50 sneaker and subsequently recorded a song for him.

The dancehall musician on Saturday posted a photo of himself on wearing a white top and jeans on social media. The picture drew the necesarry attention it needed as many begun to talk about it.

His lovers argued that he was wearing a Dsquared2 jeans which costed about $670 an equivalent of approximately GHC 3,879.30 . However , a microscopic look at the jeans revealed that, Shatta Wale was rather wearing a fake jeans.

Instead of Dsquared2, Shatta’s jeans was Dsquare².

Clearly, Shatta Wale was not wearing the original Dsquare2 brand.
