Cardi B planned 3days stay in Ghana was marred with a miscommunication between the US rapper, her team and some selected celebrities in Ghana. Apparently, some celebrities had been invited by some privileged personalities for a meet and greet with the rapper. But unfortunately for the celebrities, the “Bodak Yellow” hit-maker was in the dark about it and failed to show up in time for the planned meet and greet.
Feeling disappointed and let down, some went vocal about it spewing insults to the organizers of the concert. One person in particular was Wendy Shey. The Rufftwon record artist, who came to the venue at 4pm instead of the 1pm time she was invited, left some few minutes and took to social media to lie and drag the American rapper.
According to Wendy Shey , she had waited for Cardi B but she was somewhere chewing khebab for 7 hours when in fact , Wendy Shey didn’t last more than an hour in the venue.
“ So u guys called us to come have a one on one lunch date with @iamcardib and she has been chewing khebab for 7 hours in her room without showing up What do u guys take Ghana celebrities for ?! This can never happen in Nigeria Wake up Ghana ! She is Cardi B and I am WENDY SHAY! “
Wendy Shey rants somehow made it to the US papers and online blogs.
Cardi B then decided to post a picture of herself performing in Ghana. The intriguing thing is, Cardi after seeing the hundreds of pictures of herself, posted one particular picture that has left us to think its a direct response to Wendy Shey.
If you can quite remember, Wendy also has a familiar picture of herself showing her behind which was deemed to be very awkward, bad, disgusting and improper.
