Wendy Shey , who is signed to the Rufftown record label has stated that the poor attendance at the Cardi B concert last Sunday was because the organizers of the show left her out for Seyi Shay.
According to the “Stevie wonder” hit-maker, it was impossible for the event to be sold out when the organizers failed to book her for the show but rather chose to deal with a Nigeria. She further stressed that, Nigerians wont book a Ghanaian artist for a show in Nigeria and wondered why Ghanaians are rather booking Nigerians instead of Ghanaians.
She took to twitter to get her feelings heard and also take a dig at the Nigerian shey.
“How do you expect a sold out concert without booking the hottest Queen in Ghana .. instead of WENDY SHAY you go book some Shay Naija never go book Ghana artiste Ghana wake up!”
The much anticipated Cardi B concert came to a dreadful end when most of the artistes billed for the night failed to perform. These includes a couple of Nigerians and Ghanaians. Weny Shey was however sideline for the show and her counterpart from Nigeria was rather billed.
