Ghanaian actress Christian Awuni has serve notice of her intention to quit doing movies if the Foreign minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey does not come out to apologise over her comments.

During an Npp rally in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency where Lydia Alhassan is battling John Dumelo of the NDC, the foreign minister delivered a speech were she said that, Parliament is meant for serious people and not actors who think they are popular and deserve to be MP.

Her comments did not go down well with a section of Ghanaians with notable people like Bridget Otoo and co finding her words unfortunate.

Kumawood Actress Christiana Awuni has become the latest celebrity to take serious exception to what the minister said.

According to her, Ghana actors guide should join in the call to ask the minister to retract and apologise for her comments or else she no more acting in movies again.

The actress who has entertained Ghanaians for so long deemed the ministers words insulting.

The minister has however come out to apologise for her comments stating they were misconstrued.
