Award winning Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Lydia Forson has chided the Electoral Commission after it release a statement stating that it was still going ahead with the compilation of a new voters register amidst the coronavirus scare.
According to the popular actress, the coronavirus is exposing just how irresponsible a lot of our leaders are and how they’re more than willing to put their interest before your lives.
The EC in a statement dated the 17th of March, detailed how they had not abandon the idea of compiling a new register even at a time where people have been advised to avoid public gathering of any sort as a measure to mitigate the spread of the disease.
The EC however stated that, a new date for the register will be communicated soon.
