Popular Ghanaian comedian, DKB , known in real life as Derick Kwabena Bonnie has apologized to kumawood actress cum musician, Emelia Brobbey, for mocking her.
Emelia Brobbey, upon releasing her new single , came under heavy attacks by all sort of people mocking her and describing her song as useless, ridiculous and below par. Among the many mockers was the popular comedian. The comedian release a video in which he described the actress song as the female version of Daddy Lumba.
DKB however gave the actress 75% for her passion and attempt.
Unfortunately for the comedian, Emelia Brobbey found his remarks hurtful and unsympathetic.
Responding to Emelia’s comments, DKB apologize and said Emelia only hated her. He went further to say he never mocked or troll the actress but rather made his comments in jest like how he often tease Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
DKB also added that, there is a difference between “trolling” and “making fun of”. According the comedian, trolling is hurtful but making fun of isn’t and vow never to talk about the actress again.
