Popular satire comedian and TV presenter, Kweku Sintim Misa, known widely as KSA has scorned the government for trying to invest a colossal amount of 100million dollars in a cathedral when many of its citizens are poor.
The government of Ghana led by the President in May 2018 unveiled a designed for a National Cathedral estimated to cost about a 100million dollar. The national cathedral will be a interdenominational Christian cathedral scheduled to be built in Accra, the nation’s capital, as part of Ghana’s 60th anniversary celebrations.
KSA however shares a different opinion about this whole thing and has berated the government on their decision.
According to the satirist, its unfortunate that government will invest such huge sums of money for God to live in when many of its people are poor and filthy.
He also touched on the fact that organized religion had skewed the thinking of many people such that they acted without thinking through them logically.
KSM also hit at men of God who claimed to possess healing powers and asked them to seek permission from President Akufo-Addo to heal Ghanaians who have contracted the COVID-19.
