The electoral commission of Ghana has secretly unfollowed the New Patriotic Party (Npp) on Twitter after a section of Ghanaians described it as unfair towards the other political parties.
The electoral commission of Ghana prior to the revelation, was following the Twitter handle of the Npp and an additional 20 accounts on Twitter.
A search in the lists however excluded that of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Netizins described this as the EC having a leaning towards the ruling Npp.
The EC after being prompted has necodemiously unfollowed the Twitter handle of the NPP and has reduced those it follows to 9 handles.
