Rufftown record label artist, Wendy Shay has called on all the female artist who came after the late award winning artist Ebony should be thankful to her.
According to Wendy Shay, her record label mate who lost her life in an untimely bizarre accident was a blaze setter in the Ghanaian music industry and deserved to be appreciated. The “odo” hit-maker added that Ebony career shed light upon all the female fraternity and made people pay attention to them.
She took to her twitter feed and posted “All the female artiste that came after Ebony including myself , should be thankful to her Because her career shed light upon the female fraternity and made people pay attention to us !! Another Statue for a Great talent Ghana Wake up !“
Ebony who lost her life 2years ago became the first Ghanaian female artist to win Artist of the year,Album of the year, Afrobeats song of the year.
