American and Ghanaian filmmaker, Leila Afua Djansi has applauded the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo for equipping the Ambulance service with the state of the arts equipment that saved her sister’s life.
She took to micro-blogging site , Twitter to extend her thanks to the president for the Ghana Ambulance service. According to the 39year old filmmaker and philanthropist, the ambulance vehicle comes with gadgets like monitors, resuscitation kits and professional staffs.
She tweeted “

The previous government were criticized by Ghanaians for importing ambulances that arrived without any equipment required for resuscitating life before the patient arrives at the hospital. Many argued that the ambulances were ordinary vehicles that had been converted into ambulances.
