Frank Lampard criticizes Mourinho

Chelsea legend and current coach, Frank Lampard has taken a dig at his former boss, Jose Mourinho for allowing players like Mo Salah and Kevin De Bruyn leave Chelsea when they were in their early 20ties after his Blue side beat Tottenham 2-0 at their new stadium.

According to Frank Lampard whose side was victorious by Willian brace,

he will continue backing his kids to overcome more experienced sides – unlike previous Chelsea managers.

Lampard added: “If we’re not careful and we don’t stick with the young players, we might end up in a situation like we were before where absolute top, world-class players in this moment were at Chelsea when they were 20/21 and managers didn’t stick with them.

This many have construed to be a dig at his previous manager, Mourinho, who at the start of the season, criticized Frank Lampard for stating younger players like Mount and Abraham against Manchester United.

According to Mourinho, Chelsea were beated 4-0 because Frank had selected younger lads.
