Matthew 5:16 “Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and. glorify your Father who is in heaven”
The Ghanaian media is so saturated with negative news that its become difficult for anyone to gain relevance without inflicting bruises on another.
This clearly defines the case between Mona Gucci and Nana Aba Anamoah. Many like myself knew nothing about Mona Gucci until her gigantic interview on Neat Fm a year ago.
Her interview gain the needed traction and attention because as usual of the Ghanaian media landscape, a reputation was to be bruised and perhaps destroyed on live radio. In what i will describe as her first appearance to the Ghanaian media, Mona Gucci decided to drag the names of some of the most respected women in this country in the mud.
People like Yvonne Nelson, Sandra Ankobiah and Nana Aba Anamoah didn’t miss her net. She described Nana Aba Anamaoh as the mother of slay queens. Neat Fm later apologized for allowing their platform to be used for such shenanigans.
After brewing bad blood between herself and Nana Aba, its therefore quite surprising that Mona Gucci will today pretend nothing of such exist and praise her on her Instagram.
“Oh my!!oh my Nana Aba Anamoah is a media Gem… see how she exhibited maturity in this interview… and her calmness regardless of how angry the man (Koku)…was…she kept her cool…n so relaxed …let’s bow for Nana Aba… she’s indeed a media gem..💯#FactsOnly….. Nana Aba to the world🥂💋❤️. PS: if u comment anything negative u will be blocked…⚠️….. thank u”
Her post of praise isn’t needed. It will be right for her to apologize than pretend to be a cautionary tale of someone who will throw decency away just for a minute of attention.
