Ghanaian comedian Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face who has been sued by a US based woman named Mary Ama Boansi has reacted to the news by calling on his fans to relax.
According to the popular comedian, his case is a pure case of a relationship gone bad. In a video circulating online, Funny Face disclosed that, he had broken up with the said lady for more than a year and the lady is in to disgrace him after seeing that he has made it in life.
He however failed to address the issue of deceiving to marry the lady and siphoning her wealth.
“Funny fans relax.Dont panic. Its nothing serious. This is a pure case of relationship gone bad that somebody has gone to sit down, think let me come back to disgrace you. After one year of breakup. You have come back to disgrace me” he is heard saying in the video
He further added “Anyway, its in court. My lawyers will deal with you.Funny fans relax. After seeing i’m making it, you have come to attack, after your threats?“
The comedian has been sued by a US based Ghanaian lady for a sum of $53,000 plus. According to the writ of sermon, Funny face has been accused of defrauding the lady with the pretense of marrying her.
