Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng also known as Funny face who allegedly threatened to kill his ex-wife and girlfriend and commit suicide has been remanded into Police custody by the Kaneshie District Court.
The court has ordered that a psychiatric examination be conducted on Funny face.
He is also be subjected to substance abuse examination at the Police Hospital. Funny face is expected to reappear on November 10.
The Ghanaian comic actor was picked up by persons of the Criminal Investigation Department during an interview on Kofi TV. Prior to his arrest, Funny Face had taken to Instagram to rain insults on persons like Fada Dickson, Borla Ray and Adebayor .
According to him, the trio had deserted him in his time of need. He also took to the same platform to issue threats to his baby mama of three children.
This threat by the actor led to his arrest by the Ghana Police Service. His history of mental instability forced the police to request for mental examination from the Psychiatric hospital. He is also to be subjected to substance abuse examination.
