After gaining fame and popularity over her generous gesture towards the pupil of Aninkrom D/A Primary one in Adankwame District in the Ashanti Region, Abenah Serwaah Mankosa has been invited by the Ghana Education Service(GES).
Abenah Serwaah Mankosa became a social media sensation when pictures of her kind gestures went viral.
The pupil one teacher who was adding her savings to prepare free food for her students caught the attention of Ghanaians on social media including respected journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah who praised her for her works.
BBC also took it upon themselves to make news out of it and applaud the young teacher for her generousity. Other people also contributed to get her students school bags.
Unfortunately for the teacher, GES has a different understanding of what she is doing for her student and as a matter of urgency ,have invited her to the district office.
Per reports , the Ghana Education Service is Allegedly accusing her for using the Pupils to ask for help and that it is unlawful for a teacher to take photos of Pupils and posted them on social media
According to another report Sighted by Celebritieshype.com , the Ghana Education Service is also accusing Abenah Serwaah Mankosa for using school feeding programme to deceive the populace
“I just don’t know any GES rules that is against taking pictures of children,so we can’t reach out to the less privileged in the society in peace
Can the community turn against me that they don’t like how I treat my children under influence of any power
Ghana is sweet
Daddy said am stronger than this
Final verdict at my district education office
I love my country
Have just lost appetite
So will Ghana ever develop” – she wrote
In another explanatory post on Facebook she noted
“Let not politicize it
We are a country govern with rights and responsibilities
Wher is the freedom of speech
Wher is the freedom of association
I was just entertaining my friend here because am a proud basic one madam
People saw it and started helping and this motivated me to post more and solicit for fund
Why is a good teacher painted a black sheep in GES
Why do we kill souls of teachers touching lives
Why should I be invited to come to my district office with my documents
My dad has travelled and I don’t have access to it
Oh mother Ghana ,am I not doing the work of God
Wednesday this kids will all get new uniforms and bag
Tomorrow I don’t know my fate because am called under fear and panic
But I know am a strong woman
Lord never let me give up on this kids
Technology is here with us and I don’t know GES can ban me from taking pictures with my kids
Reason of this pictures is to motivate my college teacher and not to rely on Government alone
