Nigerian Afro-pop singer and songwriter Davido, who recently became a daddy to a beautiful baby boy, has added his voice to the ancient debate between Ghana jollof and Nigeria jollof.
Over the years, Ghanaians and Nigerians on social media have been on each others neck on which of the two countries have the best jollof rice.
Artists such as Wizkid and Efya have made their choices known on which of the two is the best. The debate which has lingered on for years, even got Nigerian born American raper, Wale, to question his fans on twitter, which of the two was the best.
Taking his turn on Nessa On Air, Davido, was asked to choose between Ghana jollof and Nigeria jollof.
The “Fall” hit-maker rather revealed his best jollof rice was that from Senegal.
According to the singer, he will go for the jollof rice from Senegal. He opined that, Senegal had the best jollof rice on the planet.
He however said, he loved Nigeria jollof also.
“Senegal has the best Jollof rice. They call it wollof. But between Ghana and Nigeria Jolof, i will go for Nigeria jolof cause i love it “
