Ghanaian dance-hall artist, Shatta Wale has join Rufftown record label singer, Wendy Shay to call on the Food and Drugs Authority(FDA) to rescind their decision in banning celebrities from endorsing alcoholic beverages.
In 2015, the FDA banned celebrities from endorsing and advertising alcoholic beverages on the airwaves. According to the authority, celebrities are an influence on the youth so banning them will protect the youth from being lured in alcoholism.
Wendy Shay has started a meeting with the authority concerning their directed and has called on other celebrities to “wake up” and join her call.
Well, it seems her call has been working as Shatta Wale has join in her fight.
Shatta Wale, instead of attacking the authority, has chosen the cowardice approach in attacking his fellow celebrities and musicians.
According to him, Ghanaian musicians behave like children and are concern about award and not business.
In a series of post, Shatta Wale took the lighter road of a coward and danced around the issue.
