Ghanaians fume at Afrochella organizers for bringing a Nigerian;Charles Okocha to host this year’s festival

This years Afrochella festival will take place at the El-walk sports stadium, Accra on the 28th of December ,2019.

The Afrochella festival, which is meant to celebrate Africa’s diverse culture and the vibrant work of African creatives & entrepreneurs has come under severe attack on social media platform twitter over the organizers decision to allow a Nigerian host the festival this year.

The organizers of the annual festival on social media, announced that, unlike last year were Caroline Simpson of Yfm was honored to be co-hosting, popular Nigerian comedian Charles Okocha will do the honors this year. This announcement however did not go down well with Ghanaians on twitter.

In a series of tweets, Ghanaians expressed their displeasure at the organizers decision to allow a Nigerian host the festival this year.
