Popular social media personality and influencer Efia Odo has decried the inability of the government to provide stable light and water for its citizens in this dire time.
Efia Odo, who has taken it upon herself to propagate the ways Ghanaians should live their lives to avoid being coronavirus positive, has also asked the government of the day to be up and doing.
According to the free spirited actress, its quite impossible for people to self quarantine when there’s no light and water for the people. She took to twitter to opine that, such inconsistency has made most Ghanaians harbor anger in them.
She tweeted
“ How can people self quarantine in this heat? No lights/water? I see why there’s soo much anger in some of us. Living in a country that can’t provide us with basic needs!We aren’t animals we are humans and we should be treated as such. Not everyone can afford tank or a generator! “
Her comment comes after Ghana’s power situation has been poor and inconsistent and water supply hasn’t been stable either. And to make matters worse, Ghanaians have been asked to self quarantine and avoid public gathering.
