Ghanaian fast rising singer Jackie Acheampong, known by her craft name Gyakie has apologised to her fans on twitter for an earlier comment she made.

According to the “Forever” hit-maker, she apologise to anyone who found her earlier tweet unfortunate and undesirable and got offended by it. She added that she’s sorry for it and hopes her fans keep pushing Ghanaian music to the top.

“Hi good afternoon, I apologize deeply to anyone that felt offended by my earlier tweet. Mey3 very sorry. Let’s keep pushing Ghana music to the world.🇬🇭❤️”

Gyakie, who is also the daughter of legendry Ghanaian highlife singer, Nana Acheampong berated a section of her fans on social media for saying her remix of Forever with Omah Lay a wack song.

DeeWills, the son of Archbishop Duncan Williams advised Gyakie to go back for a refund from Omah Lay because the song wasn’t that impressive.

In a response to all the backlash, the singer positioned that, the remix was only made for those who connect with it and not everyone.

“It’s not for everyone. Those who connect to it are the ones I made this for 💛”

After her response, the singer, who is currently having the best days of her music career in Nigeria, suffered an uncharted backlash that she had to come back and apologise.
