Rufftown Records artist and reigning VGMA new artist of the year, Wendy Shey has said she will only beef with musicians like Cardi B and Beyoncé and not upcoming arts like Fantana.
According to the ‘Stevie Wonder’ hitmaker, she does not beef with artist who came to meet her in the music industry rather, she beef with the likes of Cardi B and Beyoncé , artistes who have already made a name for themselves.
Speaking to Sammy Flex on Zylofone Fm, the singer said “if i will diss anybody, i will diss those who came before me and has numbers, we work with numbers. Sarkodie and Shatta wale are my big brothers so they are insulated. i will diss people like Beyoncé and Cardi B” she said
Wendy Shey and Fantana who are both signed under the same Rufftown Label are rumored to be at loggerheads at each other. Their ‘on-the-low’ conflict was made apparent in the lyrics of Wendy Shey’s new song dubbed “Turf skin girl”.
In the song, Wendy Shey took a shot at Fantana when she said “We get money money but you no get penny
I be self made millionaire not from mommy “
Fantana took the bait and replied with a post on Instagram and later deleted it.
