Former black stars captain Asamoah Gyan has berated Accra news network Joy 99.7 Fm over a question the media House asked on Twitter with its handle.

According to the Legon Cities striker, he has lost respect for the media House and has decided to remove it from the list of stations he listens to.

The news network queried its followers on twitter if they were still hurt by the penalty Asamoah Gyan missed in the 2010 world Cup against Uruguay.

Asamoah Gyan’s penalty missed denied Ghana a place in the semi finals of the world Cup. That would have made Ghana the only African country to have gotten that far in the competition.

This question by Joy Fm seems to have infuriated the Ghanaian with the record number of goals scored by a Ghanaian in the world Cup.

He asked Joy Fm to be ashamed of itself for asking a question that exposes him to ridicule and insults.

“I have lost Respect for you guys. From today, @Joy997FM is out on my list. You should be ashamed of your self. Learn how to respect. Smh”
