After a number of his colleagues in the movie industry chose to pinch camp with his opponent in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency election, John Dumelo was today surprised by a momentous number of other celebrities who took to the streets to campaign for him.
Actors and Actresses like Kalsum Sinare, Irene Opare, James Gardiner, Kofi Adjorlolo, Fred Nuamah and a host of other known faces took to the streets and homes of the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency to show their support for their colleague actor.
John Dumelo , who had no idea his fellow movie industry players were in the constituency, was gobsmacked when he saw his wife and others claded in NDC party suviniours and chanting his name.
The popular actor will be facing Lydia Alhassan of the National Patriotic Party (NPP) to become the parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency. Many had thought , John Dumelo being an industry player, the whole creative acts community will be supporting his candidature. This wasn’t so as Kalybos, Bismarck the joke , David Osei have campaign for his opponent.
