For years now, many movie lovers and Ghanaians on Netflix have bemoan the lack of Ghanaian content on the platform. It seems that phenomenon is changing thanks to Lydia Forson.
The actress turn movie producer has achieve a stunning fate most Ghanaian movie producers will yearn for.
Lydia Forson has been able to churn out a deal with Netflix; the world’s leading streaming entertainment service with over 167 million paid memberships , to have an additional two of her movies streamed on their app.
Last year, Lydia Forson became the first Ghanaian based actress and producer to have two of her movies “Phone Swap” and “Isoken” streamed on Netflix.
This year, the determined actress followed it up with an additional two of her beautiful movies, ‘Keteke’ and Side ‘Chic Gang’.
This makes it four in all for the Ghanaian female producer.
Confirming it, the actress took to Instagram to share her news.
She also told us to expect more since she just started. Her excitement can’t be compared to mine as i am over the mood for her. As a subscriber of Netflix, seeing Ghanaian content on the platform gives me sexy chills.
