Two medical doctors, four nurses, two mothers, two social workers and a traditional birth attendant have been arrested for engaging in baby harvesting and human trafficking activities.

Babies were sold for GHC28,000 and GHC30,000. Two baby boys who were bought during the operation are currently in the hands of investigators.

This was made known in a press release by the Economic and Organised Crime Office and the Medical and Dental Council.
