Embattle Chief Executive Officer of Menzgold Company Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah has responded to those dragging his name into the current battle between the state attorney and Akuapem Poloo.

Akuapem Poloo became the topic of yesterday when she pleaded guilty in court. Due to her guilty plea, the Accra Circuit court presided by  Ms Christiana Cann remanded the actress and deferred sentencing to tomorrow 16th of April 2021.

This has generated conversation on social media espercially twitter with many Ghanaians disgusted by the turn of event. This caused former employee of TV3, Bridget Otoo to question why personalities like NAM1, who the state described as a scammer was walking freely and persons like Akuapem Poloo were being dragged by the law court.

NAM1 has finally come out to respond to persons who have decided to use the current incident to highlight on his ungoing struggle with the state.

According to him, he was acquitted and discharged in a foreign land and that he pleaded not guilty in Ghana. He further reminded Ghanaians his granny wasn’t the judge presiding on his case.

In a tweet he wrote “Stop Misleading the public. Even on a foreign land i was acquitted and discharged, a decision that was affirmed by the Appeals Court and the Supreme Court. FYI: my granny wasn’t the presiding judge. Back home, I pleaded NOT GUILTY and I’m having my day in Court.
