Media personality and now Ghana’s fast rising cement dealer , Bridget Otoo has questions Ghana’s circuit court decision to detain Akuapem Poloo after she pleaded guilty for posting a semi-nude picture with her son on social media.
The Ghanaian actress was today detained by the Accra circuit court pending a sentencing on Friday the 16th of April. Her remand by the court has generated a heated conversation on social media with notable people like the former TV3 employee coming to her defence.
In a series of tweets, Bridget Otoo expressed her shock and dismay at the court’s decision and argued why the court decided to take a serious exception to Poloo’s act but have refused to same to the embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah.
According to Bridget Otoo, Nam1 who was described by the state as a scammer and actions led to the deaths of many Ghanaians is walking scot-free because of his connections. She further queried what was harmed by Akuapem Poloo’s actions.
“NAM1 is still free and doing Instagram post. A man described by the state as a scammer. A man whose actions has killed people, rendered thousands jobless and some are at the point of suicide! He’s free cos he’s connected! #AkuapemPoloo“
“Akuapem Poloo Wow!!! Ghana“
