The osu traditional area and the Greater Accra traditional house of chiefs have taken responsibility for demolishing a building identified as an extension of the Nigeria High Commission in Ghana.

In a lengthy press statement, the Osu traditional area chronicles the events leading to the demolishing of the building.

According to the paramount chief of the area, they had noticed that a construction work was being done on their land and as stipulated, they sent letters to the constructor to halt work and come over for a deliberation on the way forward since the particular land isn’t the proper of the state. Their efforts were however fruitless and they had to take the necessary actions to halt progress of the building.
