The chairman of the church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye has iterated that, the Pentecost Church have outlined to build at least one prison every year.

In an interview with Asempa FM, he communicated that, it’s the responsibility of the church to look out for sinners and that’s what the gospel preaches. This he made in relation to the fact that, he want to create a humble abode for his people to stay so they can preach the gospel.

He outlined that, currently the prisons are congested and that is the little they can do to help with situation.

This facilities he said will also be used as educational foundations for the prisoners to further their education or learn some form of skill.

He mentioned that, some individuals who are not members of the church have already hopped to the rescue and have assisted in building some in the name of the church.

He mentioned places like Edwina, Nsawam, Obuasi and Damango where these facilities are already started with Edwina almost under completion and each facility cost about $1.7 Million
