There’s this notion that , men of God and pastors are not supposed to listen to secular songs.
Well, the myth seems to be coming to an end.
The founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah has for the first time named his two favorite Ghanaian rappers.
According to the man of God, his two best rappers of all time are rap legend, Obrafour and BET award winner ,Sarkodie.
Speaking to Kwasi Aboagye on Entertainment review on Peace FM, the ‘Nation’s prophet’ opined that, Obrafour is someone he enjoys listening to because of his wisdom and choice of lyrics.
“one of the reason why i like his songs is because he used the name Rap Osofo. meaning he is a rap pastor and when i listen to his songs, they are so nice and good. its like your old man telling you ananse stories.” he said
“i like him and the other guy from Tema (Sarkodie). yes, they are the only two rappers i listen to”
The man of God disclosed to the panelist on the show that, he will make it a point to attend Obrafour’s concert this Saturday but prayed the Journalist do not make stories out of it.
Asked how he felt about Eagles prophet’s prophesy concerning the death of Kuame Eugene, the man of God asked the singer not to take the prophesy lightly but must pray about it.
