Its another election year and the phenomenon of seeing celebrities and media persons showing their support for a political party has resurfaced.
Over the years we have witnessed actors like Agya Koo, Prince David Osei, Tracy Boakye, John Dumelo and the likes showcasing their love for either the NPP or NDC.
Some have also gone as far as appeared on the campaign trails of their preferred candidate to echo how well their decision means to them.
Though there hasn’t been any emphatical evidence to prove that their endorsement sway in some of their fans , its believe that it helps to improve the integrity of the candidate.
New to join this phenomenon is Raggae Dancehall artist , Samini. The Dansoman based artist is not known for throwing his support behind a political party.
Sources close to this blogs reveals that the “obra” singer has broken the taboo and endorsed the candidature of NPP’s Nana Akufo Addo as the president of Ghana after 2020.
He made an encrypted post detailing his reason for endorsing the current president for the December election.
