Dancehall artist Samini in a series of tweets has responded to Stonebwoy’s praises to Nigerians for winning two Grammy awards by labelling him a faker.
Stonebwoy has earlier taken to micro-blogging platform Twitter to hail Nigerian for winning two Grammy awards in the 2021 edition.
He tweeted ” With All Due Respect Let All other African Nations Give It Up For Nigeria. For their Constant efforts in Holding the Mantle for Africa when it comes to entertainment On The Global Scene. Congrats for holding it down at the Grammys.. As for Ghana, smh I’ll be back..”
The tweet caught the attention of Stonebwoy’s former boss Samini who decided to throw some mud at his former protégé.
According to Samini, the only way Ghanaian artists can achieve such fate is by being 100% percent with each other. He added that, Nigerians respect their elders that’s why they are winning these highly decorated awards. He also advised Stonebwoy to check himself before giving extra fans to Nigerians.
“Ghana will be ok if we begin to keep it 100 with each other as artists my gee .it starts from being honest and calling a spade a spade. Do you think they disrespect Idibia like you disrespect Samini?? #yearoftruth. before you give extra fake fans to Nigeria #checkyourself faker“
In his response, Stonebwoy tweeted that, he does not disrespect Samini and he thought Samini was beefing with Shatta Wale after they both recently dropped diss songs.
“No disrespect, You just finished a twitter beef with shatta is it my turn now?? We know each other personally I cannot do this with you on social media..“
Samini then revealed where and how he was disrespected by Stonbwoy.
“After calling me a sellout on a public stage during your mismatch clash ,,??? Who sold out who ? We come from #grade1 … you got nerves to be tweeting at me .. @shattawalegh is a mate you are a son … get the difference..”
