The Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Hon Barbara Oteng Gyasi has honored the 2019 BET award winner for best international flow, Sarkodie for his amazing works and promoting Ghana on the international stage.

Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu Addo has been honored as the ambassador for Ghana’s 2019 Year of return celebrations.

The rapper , recently made Ghana proud when he used the BET stage in Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Center to talk about the year of return and invite other blacks to travel back to Africa and Ghana to be precised.

The “Year of Return, Ghana 2019” is a major landmark marketing campaign targeting the African – American and Diaspora Market to mark 400 years of the first enslaved African arriving in Jamestown Virginia.

The president of the republic of Ghana, His excellency President Akufo Addo in September 2018 declared and formally launched the “Year of Return, Ghana 2019” for Africans in the Diaspora, giving fresh impetus to the quest to unite Africans on the continent with their brothers and sisters in the diaspora.

Sarkodie with his influence on the international stage, has been made the ambassador of the policy.

Upon receiving the honor, Sarkodie took to twitter and said
