BET International flow award winner, Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu Addo did the unthinkable after his “This is Tema” concert pulled a crowd over 50, 000 plus fans and patrons.
The multiple award winner decided to pay his place of growth back for the support they gave him since the birth of his dream as a rapper. Tema had held the back of Sarkodie since he started rapping and his love for his root is the reason he always mentioned ‘Tema’ in almost all his songs.
The concert which began with a health walk on the Saturday , garnered a huge crowd which had the likes of Sarkodie’s father in attendance.
Sarkodie led the crowd through some principal streets of the Tema Metropolis amidst tight security.
But the crowd was humongous on the day of the concert as people were finding it difficult for space to breath.
The fans were thrilled by artist after artist as the likes of Stonebwoy, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, Kwaw kese etc passed through.
Sarkodie used the opportunity to perform for the first time, “You the man” song to the crowd.
