Stonebwoy has responded to a fan to told him his “Putuu” song was trash that was why he is not winning a Grammy.
Nigeria made Africa proud when two of its artists, namely; Burna Boy and Wizkid won awards at the 2021 edition of the Grammy Awards.
Burna Boy came home with the Best Global Music Album award while his compatriot, Wizkid took away the Best Music video award for being featured in Brown Skin Girl by Beyonce.
Stonebwoy took to his twitter handle to congratulate the West African country for its consistency on the entertainment stage.
He tweeted ” With All Due Respect Let All other African Nations Give It Up For Nigeria. For their Constant efforts in Holding the Mantle for Africa when it comes to entertainment On The Global Scene. Congrats for holding it down at the Grammys.. As for Ghana, smh I’ll be back..”
One fan then replied his tweet by alluding that Nigerians don’t record trash. He again suggested that Stonebwoy’s Putuu song was trash that why he wasn’t winning any Grammys.
“Masa Masa ,you see say Nigerian they record borla tracks ? Ahhhh Chairman paaa Y3de Putuu gye Grammys.”
In a rebuttal, the afro-dancehall singer said “Language is not a barrier the fact that you don’t understand what I said in that song doesn’t make it borla..”
We are however yet to be informed what language the Putuu track was made in.
