The Ghana Armed Forces and Ghana police have contributed their quota to keep some busy markets in Accra clean.
The Ghana Armed Forces collaborated with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) to conduct a massive clean up exercise in the major markets in Accra starting from the Makola Market Today, GhOne TV reported.
Troops were dispatched from Southern Command, Support Services Brigade Group, the Army Headquarters, the Ghana Navy and the Ghana Air force to help in the exercise.
Present at the market was the Chief of the Defense Staff, Lt Gen OB Akwa with the Service Chiefs, the AMA boss, Disguished Generals from the Military High Command to inspect the progress of work.
The exercise continues tomorrow 5 April 2020 at the Agbogbloshie market
