American video sharing platform YouTube has removed Wendy Shay’s latest music video ,”Pray for the world” from its platform over copyright infringement.
Apparently, Wendy Shay’s “Pray for the world ” song was reported by an unknown person for copying popular South African song “Jerusalem“.
The Rufftown record label singer upon hearing the news, has disclosed her intention of fighting for her rights. According to her, ”Pray for the World” has a different chord progression as Jerusalem.
She has asked her fans to maintain their cool and that her lawyers have taken on the matter.
Well, its obvious her lawyers have no teeth to bite YouTube but in other to keep her fans relaxed and cover her shame, Wendy is spewing anything to make her feel better.
Wendy Shay now joins the likes of Dr Drew who have been accused of stealing rhythm of other artists.
“this is the Country we are living in ooo …I will fight for my right because Pray for the World has a different chord progression from Jerusalema.
SHAYGANG don’t worry my lawyers are dealing with YouTube” she posted on her IG
