Female dancehall singer AK Songstress has fired back at fellow female singer , Mzbel for calling her a thief on social media.
Over the weekend, Mzbel took to her Instagram page and accused the versatile singer of stealing her song. In a long post, the “16years old” crooner dismantled her compatriots with accusation upon accusations.
“Just when I promised myself to stay out of controversy… this song is mine!!! @aksongstress u and your manager are thieves! Oh why do people keep doing evil things to me!!!Going Live at 6pm on all my social media platforms! Can’t believe I actually shared a positive comment on your performance on @akuapem_poloo page, little did i know that u are a thief!!!! I don’t care what anyone says, this is my intellectual property! My lawyer’s are ready to take u people on!!!!!!!”
In her live video, Mzbel asserted that, she once played her version of the song to the management of AK songstress and they later did a rendition f the song for heir artist.
Describing Mzbel’s claims as being influence by the things she smokes, AK songstress has threatened Mzbel with a law suit.
“All those posting stolen songs on YouTube and else where will be so embarrassed when finally the truth is established. It tell us who we are, Mzbel comes up with a bizarre accusation and Bam its believable. The day this song was recorded was way before the date Mzbel is referring to as the date she wrote the song and its date stamped in the studio records. My lawyers will serve her today. The public believing everything that is thrown at them is very worrying and dangerous. The truth will finally come out. Whatever she was smoking when she did her live video has obviously affected her already deranged mind and made it worse Ghana should pray for her. She NEVER played any song to me and she knows it. My song was recorded way before the date she claims she recorded her song and it wil be proven. I will not state the date now as the date will expose her in court. I can see smoke coming out of her head as she wonders my date of first recording this song. Which is logged on the computer. Pple give me songs and I always acknowledge them. Dont believe everything you hear my people. Let’s change as a people.”
