Award winning journalist and former employee of TV3, Bridget Otoo has lashed out at her previous employers over the recent statement concerning their bogus parliamentary election projections.
Their projections ended up to be false as theirs conflicted that of the Electoral Commission. The television network has been blasted on social media for that blunder. Some even went as far as accuse the channel of being in bed with the ruling government.
Former employee of TV3 has added her voice to those asking the network to rather apologize for that blunder than issuing a statement meant to explain it away.
In a video, the freelance journalist and a supporter of the John Dramani Mahama Ticket said “Sometimes we make things difficult for ourselves. A simple apology could have made this a whole lot better. You have a presenter on television saying that we know for sure , we have data from 275 constituencies . These two statements were were not statement of facts. They were lies . Pure and simple and yet you go ahead to issue a statement about nothing. Blaming who, EC? Where did you get your figures from? You lied“
